
Craig Waterhouse

Principal Dentist, Craig is a general dentist with postgraduate training in paediatric dentistry. Craig enjoys all aspects of dentistry, delivering care for both adults and children. He is also a Clinical Tutor at the University of Otago's Faculty of Dentistry. In 2008, after 20 years in private dental practice in Invercargill, he and his wife moved back to Dunedin and purchased the former South Dunedin Dental Associates practice on Cargill's Corner. They have extensively renovated the interior, restoring some of its original character and improving facilities for staff and patients.

Gloria completed her training at the University of Otago in 2002 and right away started her practice in Whangarei. After two years, she moved to Waikato and since worked as a private dentist. In 2010, she further did a Postgraduate Study in Paediatric Dentistry, which later got her the opportunity to work with the Waikato and Lakes District Health Boards in addition to her private practice. She is passionate about all aspects of dentistry most especially in providing comprehensive dental care for both adults and children clients. In her spare time, Gloria likes to travel the world and enjoys new dining experiences.

Clark Zhang

Clark was born and raised in Auckland, moving down to Dunedin and graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health, then moved to Adelaide where he graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Clark has returned to Dunedin to join the team at Project Dental, ready to provide the best care he can offer to all his patients. Outside the clinic, Clark likes going for beach walks and hikes with his wife.

Charlotte Metcalfe

Charlotte qualified as an Oral Health Therapist at Cardiff University, UK in 2017. She moved to New Zealand in 2019 and shortly joined the team at Project Dental. Charlotte enjoys treating patients of all ages, and prides herself in treating nervous patients, calming their anxiety. She takes a holistic approach to dentistry, with a focus on prevention ensuring a patient's oral health is maintained at home, not just at dental visits. Outside of work, Charlotte likes to relax by finding new tramping trails, drinking good wine, and exploring New Zealand in her self-built campervan with her husband, Ryan.

Chris is a qualified Oral Health Therapist and a graduate of the University of Otago. He is passionate about preventive dentistry and is dedicated to helping patients improve their oral hygiene practices for long-term oral health. His patient-centred approach focuses on education, gentle care, and building lasting relationships based on trust and empathy. With a strong foundation in both hygiene and therapy, Chris works collaboratively with patients to support their individual needs and promote confident, healthy smiles. Outside the clinic, he enjoys staying active and unwinding through a friendly game of table tennis.
